Data security and data transfer to own computer

Only files that do not contain personally identifiable information may be transferred to your own computer. Data must therefore be aggregated to groups of at least three people.

We advise you to always have a colleague review the files you intend to transfer to your own computer before you transfer.

Your entire department is responsible for the correct and responsible handling of data at Statistics Denmark. This means that if the guidelines for handling and transferring data are not complied with, your entire department will be sanctioned - often with quarantine for access to Statistics Denmark.

What does CALDISS offer in terms of data security?

Research support Kristian G. Kjelmann can be added to a project at Statistics Denmark at any time and offer to review files before data is transferred.

However, this service must be regarded as a last resort solution. This means that such an agreement can only be made if you already have an agreement with another colleague to review the files before they are transferred to your own computer. The service can then be used in case of urgency where a colleague is not available.

If you wish to make use of the service, please send an inquiry to CALDISS: caldiss@adm.aau.dk.
